Visiting Central Java, President Jokowi will Review the Great Harvest and Inaugurate Shrimp Ponds

Thepresidentpost.id - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid a working visit to Central Java, Thursday (09/03/2023). Using the Indonesian-1 presidential plane, the President arrived at Yogyakarta International Airport, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, at around 08.00 WIB.

Seemingly welcoming the arrival of the President, namely the Governor of DIY Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X and his wife, Military Commander IV/Diponegoro Maj. Gen. Widi Prasetijono and his wife, Kapolda DIY Inspector General of Police. Suwondo Nainggolan and his wife, and Danlanud Adi Sutjipto Marsma TNI Dedy Susanto and his wife.

From the airport, the President went straight to the rice harvest location in Lajer Village, Ambal District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province.

After that, the President headed to the Area-Based Shrimp Cultivation Pond (BUBK) located in Plesung Village, Karangrejo, Petanahan District, Kebumen Regency to inaugurate it.

Furthermore, the Head of State is scheduled to visit the Petanahan Market to hand over a number of social assistance to traders.

Afterwards, the President will return to Yogyakarta International Airport to then take off to the Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base in Boyolali Regency to continue his further activities.

Previously, President Jokowi and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 07.00 WIB.

Accompanying the President on the flight to Yogyakarta International Airport were Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
